Great start to the Rec Soccer Season!

Junior/Senior teams got to play on "the" turf in the TRHS Stadium; Sophomores did well on the TRJHS soccer field while the Freshmen and Bantams tore up the TRHJS softball field. And the Pee-Wees... Let's just say that they are a spectacle in themselves. Thanks to the Youth Refs, Senior Ref Steve, the Coaches, TRY Board Members, parents and - most of all - the kids for making this a memorable first day.This year, we are also honoring Jack Keough - founder of the TRY and TRHS soccer programs - who "retired" from volunteering after 40 years of dedicated service. Perhaps you saw the banner on the TRJHS tennis courts. Wales is also honoring Pete Higgins who also "retired" from decades of service to Wales Rec and the TRY Soccer program. Things went well today based on how much they've put into setting TRY Rec Soccer up over the years. Kudos to Jack & Pete!
