Recreational Parent/Player Information
Pee Wee division:
Players must be 5 or 6 years old on December 31st. Games are played in front of the High School. Players will need shin guards and sneakers or soccer cleats. Games times are listed on the schedule.
Bantam division:
Players must be 7 or 8 years old on December 31st. Games are played at the Junior High School, directly opposite the school’s main entrance.
Freshman division:
Players must be 9 or 10 years old on December 31st. Games are played at the Junior High School past the tennis courts.
Sophomore division:
Players must be 11 or 12 years old on December 31st. Games are played at the Sophomore field in front of the High School and at the Junior High in front of the tennis courts.
Junior/Senior division:
Players must be 13 to 18 years old on December 31st. Players must be in High School and a resident of the Tantasqua School District. Games are played at the Junior High in front of the tennis courts.
All age divisions:
All age groups will play 8 games on Saturdays starting after Labor Day. Players will need shin guards, soccer cleats and pull-on sport shorts. All recreation teams are co-ed. Players are not allowed to wear earrings or other jewelry.
Game cancellations:
Cancellations will be posted on the Home page of the web-site by 7:30am and each town coordinator will contact their teams in order of playing time. Each team’s coach is responsible for contacting their individual players.
Make up games:
Canceled games for Pee Wee and Bantam divisions will NOT be rescheduled.
Canceled games for all other divisions will be played on the 9th week of the season in their entirety as originally scheduled.
